Since 2015 David has employed both 35mm analog and mobile photography, travelling for study, internships and work. During these years it has been likely that a camera is in the backpack.

With experience in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, David is drawn to urban and industrialised space, particularly where there are open questions to draw around a structure, it's cultural intent and function.

He views his work as a supportive backdrop – that facilitates varied contextual discussions, akin to the extracellular matrix influencing cell differentiation for various tissue types in the body – centering impressions of spatial reference.

Through these years of hobbyist curation using Instagram and tumblr platforms, he now seeks to investigate infrastructural networks across material fabrication, urbanism and regenerative design.
